Unable to read data from the transport connection

Hi, while trying to develop an application that uses the alex ftps library, I encountered this exception saying: 

 

System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

 

This exception was generated when I issued an ftps list command (I can connect to the ftp server).  When I checked the ftps server using filezilla interface, this is the log:

Accessing the FTP server using a  FileZilla client works normally.  Can anyone tell me what am I missing?
