Wildcards with -get

Jun 22, 2012 at 4:22 PM

I'm having a real problem getting the wildcard download of files to work.  If I specify the full filename it works great, problem is I want to download multiple files at once.  here is the command I am using:

c:\Data\Prod\RBC>ftps.exe -h ftpssl.place.com -U UsernameP -P password -ssl implici
t -v -get "/outbound/AAPD/RPT*" c:\Data\

So basically trying to grab any file that starts with RPT.  As mentioned if I specifiy the full filename "RPT0101.001" then it will download no problem.

The message returned is:

WARNING: No files downloaded

Command completed

I just can't seem to figure out why it can't handle the wildcard.  According to the documentation for the -get command wildcards are supported.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi,

Can you please upload here a log generated by passing  -logFile  on the command line?

Thanks,

Alessandro

My suspicion is that the -get * uses the absolute paths and is thus receiving 550s and not downloading anything, but the log files are not detailed enough to confirm this.
