GetFiles - issues

Apr 23, 2009 at 3:51 PM
Hi,

I gladly use the method Getfiles but an exception are thrown when filenames include blanks and/or special danish characters(ÆØÅ).
When an exception are thrown Getfiles ends it execution. It would be nice if it returned the "failing" filename and continued to run.

If the GetFiles receive a Cancel from the user - then it should stop.

I have also experienced that a directory named: 227 was seen as 22_ - and therefore not found. When I deleted that directory GetFiles read
a couple of thousand files more and then stopped when meeting the special danish characters in a filename - as described above.

Hi

I have also get the same problem. I use the method AppendFile but it can't recognized chinese characters.( My remoteFileName contains chinese characters.)

just like this:client.AppendFile(file.LocalPath, "第一资料室/"+ file.Name);

Can you give me some pointers on how to correct this?
